The opening ceremony of the Club World Cup, which was hosted by the “Ibn Battuta” stadium in Tangier, this evening, grabbed the spotlight, by presenting distinguished artistic paragraphs, which introduced the heritage of the Kingdom of Morocco and highlighted the extent of its openness to the world.

The ceremony began by honoring the Moroccan traveler Ibn Battuta, for being a link between cultures and peoples, and for his contribution, through his shuttle trips, to the opening of Morocco to the world.
The ceremony presented a dance performance for the various Moroccan arts and musical colors that painted the history of Morocco for centuries, such as Aissaoua, Sahrawa, Regada, Obeidat Al-Rama, Gnaoua, Dakka Al-Marakshi, and Ahwash…
The Moroccan rapper, Daisy, performed the lessons of the song “Mawl Al-Baloon”, interspersed with pictures of the Moroccan national team’s historic achievement in the World Cup in Qatar, and the royal reception of the “Atlas Lions”.

The national voter, Walid Regragui, was the surprise of the ceremony, by appearing on the podium and repeating the phrases “You hit the poto and you go out” and “Sir Sir”, amid great crowd interaction, before the late Brazilian legend “Billy” was honored.
