Moroccan international Yassin Bounou, goalkeeper of Spain's Seville, was chosen as one of the finalists for the World's Best Goalkeeper Award for the year 2022.

The International Federation of Football Associations revealed the three candidates for the “THE BEST” award for best goalkeeper last year, and they are Bono, the Belgian Thibaut Courtois, the Spanish Real Madrid goalkeeper, and the Argentine Emiliano Martinez from the English Aston Villa.

The winner of the best goalkeeper award will be announced at a special ceremony to be held in the French capital, Paris, on Monday, February 27.

It is noteworthy that Bono was a candidate for the best goalkeeper award in the last “World Cup” after his effective contribution to the “Atlas Lions” reaching the semi-finals, noting that he won the “Zamora” award for the best goalkeeper in the Spanish League last season.
