The Brazilian team, Flamengo, won the bronze medal in the FIFA Club World Cup, after defeating Al-Ahly of Egypt 4/2 today, Saturday, in the third-place match.
Flamengo advanced with a goal scored by Gabriel Barbosa in the 11th minute from a penalty kick, and Al-Ahly equalized with a goal scored by Ahmed Abdel Qader in the 38th minute, so that the first half ended in a 1/1 draw.
In the second half, Ali Maaloul missed a penalty kick for Al-Ahly in the 58th minute, but Ahmed Abdel Qader scored the second goal for him and Al-Ahly in the 60th minute.

Al-Ahly was forced to complete the match with ten players since the 69th minute, after Khaled Abdel-Fattah was sent off.
Flamengo was able to take advantage of the numerical shortage in the ranks of Al-Ahly and scored the equalizer in the 77th minute through Pedro, then Gabriel Barbosa scored his second and third goal for Flamengo in the 85th minute from a penalty kick, before Pedro concluded the four Flamengo goals in the first minute of stoppage time for the match.
Al-Ahly was present in the match for third place after losing in the semi-finals against Real Madrid of Spain 1/4, while Flamingo was present in this match after losing to Al-Hilal Saudi Arabia 2/3 in the semi-finals as well.
