Onahi shines in his first match with Marseille |
Onahi (22 years), who reached the semi-finals of the World Cup Qatar 2022 with the Atlas Lions, signed last Sunday with Olympique de Marseille a contract for 4 and a half years.
The Moroccan international entered in the 73rd minute, replacing Chilean Alexis Sanchez, to score the second goal for Marseille in extra time (90 + 3), which allowed his team to temporarily occupy second place in the French championship.
After this match, Onahi said, “I am very happy, because today we had a great match. We dominated the game and ended up scoring two great goals. "We got three points, I'm really happy."
And Olympique de Marseille announced, last Saturday, that it had reached a “principle agreement” with the Angers club to permanently annex Onahi.
